Suzanne Lowry

Suzanne Lowry is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over five years of experience working with individuals and groups in therapy.  Suzanne has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is effective in treating symptoms of trauma. Suzanne provides a safe therapeutic environment for those who have experienced trauma and are dealing with symptoms of PTSD. She helps clients gain skills to cope with and manage their emotions more effectively.
Suzanne has 3 years experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and assists clients with learning skills of mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotional regulation for managing symptoms of depression, anxiety, relationship stress, and interpersonal crisis.

Suzanne uses an eclectic therapeutic approach and uses different theoretical frameworks to ensure that therapy remains client centered.  Suzanne works well with adolescents, adults, and couples. She focuses on helping clients feel empowered to express their authentic self and build a life they can feel proud of.

Out of the office, Suzanne enjoys time with her family, hiking with her dog, and traveling.
